Barbara De Berry, Northwestern Mutual
I am a proud member of the sandwich generation. Juggling motherhood, career, a sick parent living 3.5 hours away and everything else that life brings our way, I saw first-hand how vitally important long term care planning is.
I am committed to helping individuals and couples think through how a need for extended care would impact their lives and those of their families so that together we can develop a plan to reduce future anxiety and fear.
Long-Term Care is an issue that is also directly affecting employers and their businesses. Providing opportunities for employees to prepare long term care plans for themselves and perhaps for their parents is a meaningful employee benefit that shows commitment to those who make the company a success and to their families.
Long-Term Care Planning
My mission is to help empower clients to protect their families, financial security and legacies through customized extended care planning. I work through a customized plan with each of my clients that allows them to help protect family relationships, financial security and their individual legacy. Once clients need care, they may lose their power but a plan makes certain that they will not lose their voice.
